Already two days into the work week, I'm still reveling in the fun of the weekend.
Though I was out way late at a concert where the crowd's median age was way below that of my usual company, I got up at the crack of dawn (not really, but it was early for the weekend) to hit up the Black Halo and Society for Rational Dress samples sales in the Industry Land of downtown LA.
Here are the highlights:
Black Halo:
Purple slit shoulder dress

Society for Rational Dress:

tan oversized sweater dress
Also, I have to give Society for Rational Dress props for putting on the most relaxing sample sale I have ever been to. The staff was super friendly, not at all the typical flustered/annoyed people you see working at sample sales - not that I blame them for acting that way...and there were even cookies and champagne - way luxurious for a sample sale - and Reserve (what I presume is SRD's showroom) has a hip, artsy feel. A breath a fresh air amidst all the warehouses.
